Welcome to Sand Creek Sports

Home of the best mountain bike racing in the Pikes Peak Region of Colorado

IMPORTANT UPDATE July 1, 2008

Sand Creek Sports, Inc. is developing a late September/early October cross country race in the Colorado Springs area! We have had one meeting, found a 9+/- mile per lap course, and are currently doing a budget and technical planning prior to submitting permits. A final decision will be made shortly.

As soon as permits are in order, all information will be posted here. We are also entering the e-mail address of all those who entered the June Sand Creek Series races inorder to contact each of your directly.

Please direct any sponsorship questions (we've had several) to me (Andy) or through the contact page.

Thank you for a very successful Sand Creek Series. The races turned out exactly how we knew they would...just like the old Sand Creek Series held from 1993-1002.

Sand Creek Sports, coming to a mountain near you! Soon!

Weather policy:

The Sand Creek Series races rain or shine (or even snow). In the event of extreme conditions or lightening, a decision is made by the race organization and the USA Cycling Officials. This is done on the spot. We are always in direct contact with a local TV weather person who can advise us using their radar. In over 62+ Sand Creek Series races from 1993-2002, only one race was postponed. May 26, 2008
